Win nr 2!

Felt very off in warm-up today. Difficult to focus and fire up for the race. That feeling was blown away already at the start and my legs were great. I managed to get away already on the first lap, when I rode a section which most people had to run. Got a gap of about 20sec which I controlled through the race. I won about 15sec in front of my team mate Fabian giger.
Good feeling! Training this winter has been hard and it really pays of now.
Now I hope I can keep this feeling for the upcomming Worldcup in two weeks. I have a rather bad startnumber there but with this legs I think I can make a good race. Worldcup is something different and I am preparing in beat possible way.

2nd in the overall.

Tough day at work. Xc race and me and Fabian attacked hard from the start. We managed to get a small group out front. Trying to attack kulhavy wasn’t that easy. He is a strong guy and despite all our efforts we could not distance him.
I finished the day in 3rd place after winner Wolfram kurschat and second place kulhavy.
Kulhavy won the overall, me second and Fabian in third.
Big thanks to all in the team and especially to Fabian who has worked hard. Cool riding together with him!

Driving home Anna called me and told that one of our neighbours has died in an accident yesterday evening. Life as a pro biker may be important to us, but a day like this is not easy to take. My thoughts goes to family and friends to him. You are strong!
