I had a very bad day in the heat in Israel. My body totally get blocked and I can´t get any power out in the pedals. I am very disappointed about the feeling and the result… I am now travelling home to Sweden for a few days witch includes National champs.

We didn´t repeat the 1st place from last years Team Relay at the European Champs. I was racing the first lap and had a good race. I got tangled up behind Germanys rider and lost contact with Switzerland and Italy. I was riding about 5-10sek behind them for the rest of the race.
I had a rather hard crash in training yesterday and I am looking forward to a relaxed day tomorrow to try to recover a sore leg.
The course is super fun, but really slippery, I guess most guys have been crashing in training. The heat is huge and we have about 98% of sun during the lap. The organizers have put up special showers along the course to be able to chill yourself during the race.
It will be a hard one on friday!

I have no good news from Bern. My body shut down completely in the heat and I was suffering big time! Halfway through the race I decided it was best to pull out. I hate to do that but to push my body over the limit at this time is maybe not to smart. I went from our 20 degrees at home in Sweden to circa 30 here in Swizerland to even hotter in Italy upcoming week. I will do a heat champ in Massa Marittma next week together with Alexandra Engen, Rothaus-Cube and our coach from the Olympic Committee. After that we fly to Israel for the European Champs.
I be back!
