Since arriving home after Israel my body has been fighting a stomach bug of some kind. I have managed to eat one proper meal in 3 days and I feel rather weak. Nationals starts tomorrow with a time trial and then the XC on Saturday. I hope to be recovered enough to race well despite a big energy loss at the moment.

Edit: I will most probably not race tomorrow. I tried the course for tomorrows timetrial today and I had to stop after 40min to make a ”pit stop” at closest toilet… Shit! I will do my best to recover some energy and be ready soon again. I have just heard that others from the national team has the same symptom.

Finally my arm is free again =) I have been without the cast for a couple of days now and it feels great to be back with two hands again. Or at least one and a half =) I am super weak in the wrist and a couple of fingers but it´s getting better and better each day. I have done my first serious mtb ride since houffalize and it was good! I have some things to work on before beeing back to good form again, but all in all it feels like it´s going in the right direction.
The days at home have been spent by doing alternative training and I hope to benefit from that later in the season. I have also had a lot of quality time with my family and I can´t wait to get into action again. I have had a slight change of race calendar and I will do a mtb stagerace in CZE-republic next weekend, followed by the Bundesliga in Albstadt.

The healing process is going as it should and I was at a second check at the hospital on Monday. They say the crack is almost gone but in order to heal it properly I have to have the cast on for another 2 weeks.
It is starting to get really nice weather at home and it is super hard not to be out riding. I really miss to race! The good thing is that Sune is keeping me busy with playing and it is great!
Now time for yet another indoor session.
