Last day of January and I have completed one of my best months of training ever. Just finished it of with 4*4 running and it is as always pain…
90 hours of training this month including 4 restdays, many long rides and quite a few hardcore sessions.
I feel strong and healthy at the moment and I hope this feeling continues. Sune is down with fever, 40,1… We are feeding him with icecream now and hopefully it will ease off.
By the way, it looks like It’s going to be super cold saturday so we are cancelling the training race. Sorry for that but there will be more of that later on.
Ciao
People often ask, how the heck can you ride your bike like that in technical sections. On pics below you can see what I am up to when I ride my bike.
Today was cold as hell, -13 when sune went to kindergarten. I waited for a while and prepared the 29er for some action.
Cadence work on the road a few mins and then 1h15min the woods doing a few short courses including tricky stuff and some sprints.
I try to challenge myself as much as possible when riding. I am really good in tech stuff especially slow paced stuff. Now I am working on hitting stuff with speed and stay focused and relaxed despite rather tough sections. Cool ride and I enjoyed it as much as you can. Cold outside is not a factor when riding in the woods.
Now lunch and later 4*4 session. Bring it on!
A few stones.

I have a good feeling in my body. I have been training quite a lot since I was young and know my body rather good. I am happy to say that I feel really good in training at the moment.
They are predicting cold temperatures later this week so I decided to swap days a bit. Long rides are hard when It’s to cold outside so I took advantage of todays great weather to do a long ride again. 5 hours of pedaling with Olof as company for a bit.
I will close January with some fun training tomorrow. Things are looking good!
Ice.
