Sitting at the airport waiting for my flight to Holland. The last days at home has been great. A good amount of pedalling and good weather. Yesterday a nice 4 hour ride around one of the bigger lakes in the area. In the afternoon, Me and Sune visited one of our closest friends, who is in hospital with a rather serious health problem. Was super to see that he was in good spirits. Life is not always easy and it really makes me think about life in general.
Last race of the season on Sunday. Then to Åre for some interesting testing. After that full on off-season a couple of weeks. We will move to a new house and we are really looking forward to that.
Take care, E
First day in 2 weeks I felt good again. I have been feeling weak and also had pain in my shoulder since a crash in Heubach. Woke up and went for a 3 hour ride in the sun. Great to feel ok again.
I regret I couldn’t ride in the bundesliga today. Team mate Fabian rode great and finished 2nd. I ended 5th in the overall ranks despite not riding the last race. I be back next year.
Now a few days good training and next week a race in Holland.
Great view on todays ride…
I thought I would be fit for fight to race this weekend as I´m feeling better but yesterday I decided together with team doctor and management that I better stay home and train easy a instead of going all out in the Bundesliga. I am sitting in second in the overall standings in the Bundesliga and hoped to challange for the overall win.
I am feeling better but still far from good. I had fever in the beginning of the week and it looks lite my body has a difficult time to get good again. I will do some easy training upcomming days and then to Holland next week for the classic race in Gieten.
