Sune has birthday today. Now 1 year old and going strong! Life is great!

CX-Worlds!

 I am proud to say that I will represent Sweden at the Worlds CX in St Wendel, Germany in the end of the month. I have had a super winter doing CX-racing and I see this as a good chance to try myself against the top CX-guys. I have a little experience from international races in Italy but way less then most of the starters. It will be a great challange.

Lucky for me I have some more experienced riders in the national team, and also a few great crossers in the Rabobank-Giant Offroad team, with Bart Aernouts, Gerben de Knegt, Lars wan der Haar to name a few of them. They have to give me some top advice =)

Trainingcamp with the rest of Rabo-Giant starts tomorrow in Barcelona, Spain. Can´t wait to meet up with the others and do some mtbiking again!!!

Merida-Northwave Series!

Today we raced the last race of the Swedish national series in Lund. I had a rather easy task in front of me. I had already won the overall and I could race relaxed. I went to the front and rode in control but after about 20min of racing I got a flat tire and had to ride abóut a lap before being able to change wheel. I lost to much to bridge up to the leaders again but made a good try. When riding full of adrenaline you can ride fast but I know it doesn´t last for to ever. I went full gas and made up some time but payed for if in the end =) I got 4th today and proud winner of the Merida-Northwave Series.

Saturday we also raced in Södra Sandby, I had a solid race without any shining moments and finished 3rd. To much running on that course to fit my riding style… We are suffering major weather problems in Sweden with tons of snow so the races are a bit tough to arrange.

Next up will be trainingcamp in Barcelona, Spain together with my team. I am looking forward to some MTBiking, lost of training and great fun with the guys!
