WC Dalby Forest!

21st position at the first World Cup of the year, held in Dalby Forest, England. I am really happy about a solid result in the first round, witch will take me from 44th in the start to 21st at the next round in Houffalize, Belgium next weekend.

The organisation had built a very nice track with a lot of technical sections. It was a bit difficult to pass riders but all in all a good track. The start was a bit to fast and quite dangerous going of a big road to single trail in about 45kms or so. I was somewhere in the top 30 and before I could react the field was all splitted into pieces.

Now back in the Nederland’s for a few days before Houffalize, then back home to Sweden a few days. Life is full on at the moment, and guess what? I like it =)

Munsingen

The Bundesliga in Munsingen could have started better for me. I was supposed to travel down by plane on Friday, but after the chaos that has struck the whole world Thursday made my trip quite hard. I was lucky to have a excellent driver in form of our media responsible Jahn Ekman. He drove me down to Germany on Friday. After a 18 hour trip we finally arrived in Munsingen. A bit tired but OK for the race I thought. I opted to skip the sprint race to try to recover for Sunday.

I had concrete legs from the gun on Sunday and fell behind directly. After about half the race I found some rhythm but then the train already had left. I pedalled through and finished at 16th place.

Now I am in Holland for a couple of days before going to England and the first world cup of the year.
