Worlds!

Riding in 5th position behind Roel Paulissen when he slips and I have to change direction on my bike. Unfortunately I hit a big stone with my rear dérailleur which makes my chain going in between cassette and spokes, it gets stuck and it takes me about 1.5minutes and a lot of lost places. Tried my best to make up positions but found myself in no mans land at 17th position.

I am frustrated and not really satisfied. In another way I´m happy about being able to race up front in a World championship.

4th again…

4th place in the Team Relay. I am happy about my run and my body feels good. A crazy start with a few crashes as UCI changes from the startloop to directly on to the course. Totally mad. Changed in the lead together with Switzerland and Italy. Looking forward to the rest of the week. Full gas forward!
