Most of the race in front with a good lead but with 1.5 lap to go I ran out of gas, BIG TIME. Have had problems with my appetite since Europeans last weekend and I couldn´t refill my engine enough for the whole lap. I had speed but I was suffering more than normal. Magnus Palmberg passed me and I couldn´t follow him. Congrats to him.
I am disappointed, but I will be back for gold upcoming years. Thanks to all supporters out there.

In Sweden we have Timetrial as a part of the national championships. Today nationals kicked of with TT and I am proud to say that I won. I had a solid race during the 12km course. It was muddy conditions and second placed Magnus Palmberg was only 4.4 sec behind. Tomorrow easy day at home and then XC saturday afternoon and Teamrelay sunday.

European champs is over and I have both bad and good news from the race. I was up in top 5 the 3 first laps and when I was riding in second place at 20 seconds behind Ralf Naef at the third lap my rear dérailleur got stuck and I could just use the 34 in the back… I had to stop in the pit 3 times and another 5times at the 4th lap to change gears literally by hand. I got going again and felt good but with only number 4 gear in the back and the option of 2 different gears in the front the race became a suffering history. I am super happy to have proven that I am in good condition and a 13th place isn´t bad at all during these circumstances.
Upcoming days will be about getting ready for national champs. I am currently at my mums house in Säter, 35km from nationalchamps in Falun.
